Hoyoverse just released the drip marketing to the newest addition to the roster of characters in genshin impact. Xianyun and Ga Ming are set to join the group on 31st of jan. But, now we get to know of a knew character to whom we are already familiar to, chiori. We first met her during the 4.3 event roses and muskets. Now, we have the official drip marketing.

She has a geo vision and interestingly enough she is holding two swords. She is not the first dual wielder in the game though we already have al haitham but he is a different case. He has a small sword like a dragger. But, Chiori, she has a whole sword. From the past records the animations related to fontaine characters are far better than that of characters of other regions whether it be attack animations or idles. So, i am looking forward to Chiori’s dual wielding gameplay.

Intrestingly enough this is our second geo five star character in this version. The other being Navia, she proved herself to be a worthy character and we hope Chiori will do the same.

Another thing to note is that there is no four star character that got dripmarketed. So it probably means that we are not getting any new four star in version 4.5 which is a bit disappointing, since version 4.5 is most likely to feature a mondstadt whether it be windblume festival, Ludy harpastrum or winelesefest or a whole new festival is yet to be known but players were expecting a four star mondstadt just like last year. Last year we got Mika, but this year there no four star at all.
